JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for conducting highly skilled work in GIS to support a team responsible for school planning and K-12 demography. This position is responsible for ensuring that the Planning division’s Enterprise GIS is maintained and highly available and that team members are supported to effectively use its web-mapping services; including, but not limited to, “FindYourSchool” and the Trailer Mapping Portal. Additionally, this position maintains spatial data (e.g., student data, residential development data, and facility data) upon which significant capital improvement and school redistricting decisions are made.
