Job Description:
Our Jersey City, NJ, office is seeking a Senior Geospatial & Data Solutions Analyst to lead, architect, and execute advanced geospatial analytics, application development, data integration and visualization, and enterprise-level data solutions across our engineering and program management practices. Position Responsibilities:
Candidate will serve as Senior Geospatial & Data Solutions Analyst. Major focus areas for the role include:
- Lead and support the acquisition, processing, analysis, reporting, and visualization of geospatial and engineering datasets to support engineering and program management projects.
- Design, build, and automate data workflows using Python, scripting tools, and database technologies to integrate data across applications, improve efficiency, and support large data environments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust data architecture solutions including establishing data standards, metadata requirements, version control, and QA/QC procedures across multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply data visualization and cartographic principles to produce high-quality visualization products including maps, 2D/3D models, dashboards, and proprietary programs for both technical teams and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring that geospatial and data solutions effectively support technical needs and broader business goals.
- Mentor and support team members, providing guidance and reviews on data management, visualization, and geospatial best practices.
- Remain on the front line of industry-leading software and technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, Data Science, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in geospatial analysis, data management, GIS development, and data engineering within the A/E/C industry.
- Strong programming background with practical knowledge of Python, SQL/database management, geoprocessing automation, and API-driven data integration.
- Knowledge of database and database warehouse architecture, enterprise SQL solutions, and modern data visualization frameworks.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and other relevant geospatial software tools.
- Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards using Power BI and ArcGIS Dashboards, including building automated visual analytics that connect to enterprise geodatabases and program-level datasets.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strategic thinking.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, visually compelling graphics and maps.
- Detail-oriented – must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while delivering/managing multiple projects.
- Excellent English technical verbal and written communication skills.

The compensation range for this position is between $80,000 to $120,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
