• Digitizes, edits, and maintains new and existing GIS datasets within an enterprise (ArcGIS SDE) environment
• Maintains and updates datasets related to Next Generation 911
• Develops, implements, and maintains GIS tools, workflows, and solutions that support departmental efficiency and innovation
• Works closely with City staff, external agencies, and the public to provide GIS services
• Assists in deploying and supporting mobile GIS applications for field operations across departments
• Collects and verifies data using survey-grade GNSS equipment, ESRI field applications, and RTK drone technology
• Other duties as assigned

• A bachelor’s degree in Geography, Cartography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
• A minimum of three years of experience in GIS database design, editing, and analysis is preferred with experience in government or public sector applications considered especially valuable
• Valid and appropriate driver’s license and any other certifications required of the job
