Palmetto Engineering & Consulting (PEC) is an innovative, employee-owned consulting firm. We’re looking for a GIS I Technician to support telecom and utility projects. This role offers the chance to apply your GIS skills in real-world projects while building your career in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Collect and process field data for telecom and utility projects
• Create and update GIS maps with accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage, edit, and verify geospatial datasets
• Prepare clear reports and mapping deliverables on tight deadlines
• Collaborate with Project Managers and team members to meet client needs

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with GIS principles and ESRI ArcGIS software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
