GIS Technician

Reports To: Manager of Engineering and Design

Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibilities

Job Summary
Seeking a GIS professional with either an associate's degree in GIS/related field or 2+ years of GIS experience. Candidates should have strong skills in ESRI ArcGIS (10.x), Microsoft Office, and basic knowledge of AutoCAD and NISC iVUE. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining GIS databases, producing maps and reports, resolving mapping and connectivity issues, supporting utility projects, and managing asset and service point data. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, the ability to interpret engineering and mapping documents, and proficiency in drafting. Must maintain a valid Texas driver's license, meet safety and training requirements, and be willing to travel within the service area.
