The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated GIS Technician. The GIS Technician will collect, create, update, and perform QA/QC on new and existing GIS data using ESRI, MS Office 365, Trimble, and Android/Apple-based products. This position also maintains a current repository of data from a variety of outside sources, provides GIS support to end users, and produces high quality outputs for both internal and external users. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and dependability.

If you can do those things and meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in GIS, Geography, or Planning, or a related technical field, AND at least one (1) year of experience Including ESRI ArcGIS software and survey-grade GPS technology OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365 products, ArcGIS Online, and ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.

Compensation: Salary range is $44,566.39- $66,849.58 (DOE) plus an outstanding fringe benefits package which includes 100% fully paid employee health, vision, dental, and life insurance, generous retirement package, 13 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday that are awarded at the beginning of each fiscal year, 2 weeks of vacation, and so much more!
