Duties include importing and exporting GIS datasets in multiple formats; researching GIS source data using relational databases, imaging systems and plan sets; producing maps, presentations, reports and spreadsheets; training and supporting City employees in GIS usage; maintaining and administering the Department’s work order system (Cityworks); testing, evaluating and maintaining new software and equipment; and performing survey work in the field using GPS survey equipment and software. Duties will require the ability to adhere to strict deadlines working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in information technology or a closely related field and one year of related GIS experience required. Experience in ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro preferred. Experience with Cityworks and related asset management software beneficial. For consideration, a résumé and cover letter must be attached to your application.
