Executive Summary

This role is for a GIS Software Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance, scalable geospatial applications and services. The core focus is leveraging expert knowledge in the Esri ecosystem and open-source GIS tools (like PostGIS/QGIS) to integrate spatial data and services across enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring robust data integrity and system availability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Esri ArcGIS Mastery: Expert proficiency across the ArcGIS Suite (Pro, Online, Server, Enterprise).

• Esri API Development: Proven experience building custom applications using Esri APIs (Python, JavaScript, REST).

• PostGIS Expertise: In-depth experience with PostGIS for efficient spatial data management and manipulation.

• Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in Python and/or JavaScript for geospatial development.

• Open-Source GIS: Strong working knowledge of QGIS for spatial data analysis and processing.

• Spatial Database Optimization: Experience optimizing spatial database performance (queries, indexing).
