New Jersey Resources (NJR) summer internships offer hands‑on learning opportunities for motivated college students who want real‑world experience and a closer look at careers in the energy industry. At NJR, we value collaboration, learning, and diverse perspectives, and believe the best ideas come from working together.  As a GIS Intern, you will:  Use ArcGIS to digitize, edit attributes and update spatial data. Assist with field research and data collection using GPS equipment. Review and verify the address information to assist in successful geo-coding activities. Scan and archive maps. What You’ll Bring:  Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and entering senior year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (geography, geology, environmental sciences) or engineering. Completion of a GIS or Computer Aided Drafting course is preferred.   Knowledge and/or experience with GIS is a plus. Valid New Jersey State drivers’ license. Position is onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ. Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during defined intern program dates (June-August).
