Our Wetland Delineation Group is seeking to hire an intern to assist with several unique mapping projects. Work will consist of a mix of indoor office environment and outdoor field data collections with the majority of time expected to be in the office doing GIS mapping functions.  Will be expected to work approximately 10-15 hours per week.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collecting field data 
• Digitizing and map making 
• Assisting Management with additional GIS projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Must have major coursework in Geography, GIS, GPS, Cartography, and Geospatial Analysis.
• Experience with ArcGIS product suite (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcGIS Pro etc.)
• Data collection experience using advanced GPS units (preferably survey grade).
• Ability to carry GPS equipment essential (15-20lbs).
• Ability to work long periods of time outside in various weather conditions.

Additional Posting Information:

This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits leading to ptential for full time employment, as needed.
