Help shape how Fairview maps, manages, and plans for its future. The City is seeking a GIS Coordinator who enjoys turning complex data into clear, useful tools that support everyday decisions and long-term projects. In this role, you’ll guide the City’s GIS program, create maps and applications, and work across departments to improve information about streets, utilities, parks, and other community assets. • Administer GIS databases; maintain accurate datasets, metadata, and City maps
• Produce maps, spatial analyses, reports, and online mapping applications
• Develop GIS standards and work processes; coordinate projects across departments
• Provide user support and training; troubleshoot GIS hardware and software
• Maintain the address database in coordination with partner agencies

• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, GIS analysis, and data management
• Knowledge of GPS tools, field mapping, and cartographic methods
• Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, technical training, and customer service skills

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field
• At least one (1) year of related experience; public sector experience preferred
• Valid driver license
