  • Competitive Salary:  $112,944 - $144,164/annually
  • 100% employee premiums paid for all health benefits
  • Annual Merit Increases. Full-time employees are eligible for 5% merit increases on an annual basis until they reach the top of their pay range

As a senior technical resource, you’ll contribute to a collaborative GIS environment—mentoring others when needed, coordinating with consultants, and helping shape how GIS evolves at the district. Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Training and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in GIS, geography, computer science or a closely related field.
  • minimum of five years of progressively responsible GIS experience, including a minimum of three years' experience in the design and development of GIS systems and applications. 
  • Possession of or ability to obtain associate level Esri certifications in ArcGIS Pro within 18 months from the date of hire as a GIS Analyst. Failure to obtain the required certification within the prescribed timeframe will result in a transfer to another vacant position in a different job classification for which they are selected or termination of employment from the district. Certification must be maintained while in this job classification.
