We are currently seeking a GIS Analyst I to join our growing Geospatial Services Team in Jacksonville, FL.

What You’ll Do:

As a GIS Analyst i, you’ll play a key role in turning complex data into actionable insights. You’ll support federal and non-federal clients by building geospatial databases, producing high-quality maps and analysis, and ensuring projects meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to mission-critical federal projects, and help shape the way our clients use geospatial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support municipal, state, and federal projects by developing and maintaining geospatial datasets.
• Build and manage spatial databases, apply attribution, and perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop functional GIS models using raster and vector data to support analysis and decision-making.
• Produce professional-quality maps, tabular reports, and visualizations for project teams and client presentations.
• Conduct GPS field work and integrate collected data into GIS products.
• Provide technical support for GIS software, equipment, and workflows, while identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Establish complex relational database joins and queries using ArcGIS and other commercial software.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, or a related field (internships and academic projects count).
• Due to the projects associated with this position, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Familiarity with NAVFAC GeoReadiness Program and tools such as SDE, SDSFIE, FIAR, iNFADS, and Common Installation Picture (CIP) is a plus.
• Foundational knowledge of Geography, Cartography, Imagery Analysis, or Surveying.
• Exposure to GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn geospatial data collection, editing, and analysis.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (including trips of up to two weeks).
