One Tech Engineering is searching for a GIS Analyst for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The GIS Analyst will support the company’s Wildfire Mitigation Program by reviewing, maintaining, and analyzing GIS and database (Access) data for accuracy and completeness.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in GIS, mapping, or data analysis.

• Assist with new device installations and maintenance of existing equipment, ensuring template and data accuracy.
• Support engineering teams by managing and maintaining the Common Device Database.
• Perform GIS data management and validation for engineering and communications systems.
• Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process and fulfill data requests, often from project managers.
• Submit accurate and validated data to downstream departments.
• Maintain and update existing data templates as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve data issues.
• Work independently on assigned datasets with periodic collaboration via Teams or email.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in GIS, mapping, or data analysis.
• Strong GIS background, preferably with experience in utility or communications mapping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Access databases and database management systems; familiarity with Distribution Management Systems (DMS) is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and data validation skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Experience in utilities or communications industries preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of process automation or system integration improvements.
• Demonstrated initiative and a process improvement mindset to enhance data systems and workflows.
