What You’ll Do

As a Geospatial Program Coordinator within the Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGIS) Division, you’ll coordinate and manage critical program functions that support our installation development and real property mission. Your responsibilities include\: 

  • Managing and analyzing technical program data related to land use, infrastructure, and military construction.
  • Coordinating with internal teams, federal partners, and community stakeholders on land acquisition, GIS data integration, and program compliance.
  • Monitoring performance metrics, drafting reports, and ensuring alignment with federal and state policies.
  • Maintaining program records, assisting with budget oversight, and supporting planning initiatives that mission execution.
  • Using geospatial tools and Microsoft Excel/Word to track, report, and communicate project details and decisions.

This role supports the core imperatives of the Ohio National Guard\: Mobilizing Units, Recruiting and Retention, and Preparing for Great Power Competition.

Option 2: At least 5 years of experience managing or coordinating a program or service, including oversight of day-to-day operation, staff, budgets, or policies.

Option 3: An equivalent combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of this role. 

Helpful Skills and Experience\: 

While not required, strong candidates often have\: 

  • Experience overseeing or coordinating state or agency-level programs, services, or projects.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, rules, or procedures consistently and effectively.
  • Skill in preparing reports, tracking data, and using tools like Excel, PowerPoints, or other reporting systems. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Professional communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting compliance activities or working within government, regulatory, or public service environments.
