Executive Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Geospatial Developer to create and maintain efficient web mapping applications and spatial data infrastructure. This role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to design interactive mapping solutions and optimize backend services for geospatial data management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Web Mapping APIs: Expert in Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox GL JS (3+ years).
• Frontend Development: Strong experience with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular (3+ years).
• Backend Development: Experience with Node.js or Python (Django/Flask; GeoDjango preferred, 3+ years).
• GIS Server Management: Hands-on experience with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server (3+ years).
• Geospatial Standards: Deep understanding of OGC Standards (WMS, WFS, WMTS).
• Programming: Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python (3+ years).
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work with data scientists and other developers.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Certification in GIS: Relevant GIS certification (e.g., GISP).
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for geospatial applications.
• Additional Programming Languages: Experience with additional languages like R or Java.
• Data Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Spatial Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
