Roles and Responsibilities:

• Produce, under supervision, high quality maps and data visualizations in both hard copy and digital formats for both public-facing and internal projects.
• Respond to data and mapping requests by performing spatial queries on existing datasets and by synthesizing new datasets from various data sources.
• Assist with the analysis and development of transportation data, configuring and utilizing GIS applications for integration of geographic bus data with scheduling data. 
• Assist with the development of GIS applications aimed at improving GIS data production and maintenance applications used by staff.
• Coordinate project completion with staff and consultants regarding development of geographic data and design of geospatial web products.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, Geography, Transportation, Information Technology, Engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

• GIS skills including geospatial data analysis, data integration, and map preparation
• Experience with the ESRI Enterprise suite of products including ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Preferred: experience utilizing graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator for map finishing
• Preferred: Experience with StoryMaps, Field Maps, ArcGIS Hub, and/or application design with Experience Builder
