The City of Cambridge is seeking a GIS Specialist to develop, administer, and support the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) Program. This position maintains spatial data and creates maps and drawings for departments including Engineering, Planning, Housing, Code Enforcement, and Public Safety, while managing data standards, accuracy, and related infrastructure such as SQL Server databases and desktop GIS tools. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, independently solves GIS requests, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Engineering, Surveying, or a related field plus two years of GIS experience.
