Decision Support GIS Technician

Location - Tacoma, WA

The Decision Support GIS Technician supports the collection, maintenance, and quality assurance of spatial datasets, enabling accurate and reliable geospatial decision support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and maintain GIS spatial data.
• Assist analysts and developers with data preparation for dashboards and analytics.
• Perform spatial data validation and ensure adherence to standards.
• Support integration of GIS data with Tableau, HANA, and other analytics tools.
• Document metadata and maintain version control.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and related GIS tools.
• Knowledge of spatial data editing, quality control, and validation.
• Familiarity with data integration into analytics platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
