Whitworth University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Detailed Salary Information
Bachelor's degree with significant experience. | $3,406 per semester.
Master's degree | $3,679 per semester.
PhD | $3,950 per semester.
The instructor will be expected to teach an undergraduate level introduction to Geographic Information Systems, with emphasis on environmental applications. The course includes both lecture on GIS theory and applications as well as a computer-based lab using ESRI ArcGIS Pro and a field-based class project.
Qualifications, Skills, and AbilitiesThe candidate should have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or related field, or a bachelor’s degree with significant experience using ESRI-based software and applications.
