Essential Functions
Teaching assignments may include Introduction to Geospatial Technology, Spatial Analysis and Modeling, Data Acquisition and Management, Techniques in Cartography, Advanced Exploratory GIS , Geodatabase Design and Management, Location-based GIS Applications, Introduction to Remote Sensing, Geospatial Web Applications, Spatial Programming, and GIS and GIS Capstone courses. The applicant must be proficient in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online software. This position is also responsible for implementing teaching strategies, monitoring and evaluating student progress, and keeping accurate records. The adjunct instructor will instruct students in various courses in an online/distance learning environment. Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in GIS or related degree* Two (2) or more years of industry experience in GIS or closely related industry* *A 4-year Skilled and Technical Sciences degree may substitute for the degree/experience requirement.
