The Senior GIS Analyst works as an integral member of an energetic, award-winning team of experienced technical professionals and designs and develops innovative geospatial solutions to meet the business needs of County leadership, staff and citizens. The successful candidate is an innovative problem solver, is skilled in building relationships, is service oriented, thinks strategically, and can multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Help move us forward in the arena of integrating our high quality geospatial data, tools, and capabilities further into the Organization. This position will participate in analysis projects to extend the use of our portfolio of geospatial data, Map Services, customized tools and applications and to increase the integration of our platform into analysis projects. The person in this position will need to have strong customer interaction skills to help communicate the value of GIS to a variety of stakeholders in the organization.
Primary duties include:
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in geospatial analysis, including the use of Esri ModelBuilder for capturing workflows and communicating processes.
We are looking for a team member who can work well with a variety of departments and stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities to extend the use of GIS in the Organization.
The position requires strong independent problem solving skills as well as the ability to collaboratively solve issues that may involve multiple technologies, teams and vendors.
The position requires the ability to build relationships with department customers to design solutions that meet business needs. We manage development projects in an informal agile style; gathering frequent feedback in the course of development projects.
