This position works within the Department of Information Technology. Responsibilities include mentoring and coaching GIS project staff, creating GIS project methodologies and quality assurance / quality control procedures, creating, designing and administering geodatabases and providing supportive mapping data and analysis.
The typical starting salary range is between $62,649.60 - $75,171.20 annually depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations.
Examples of Duties
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Urban Planning or related area and seven years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
