Assist Operations, Engineering and Technical Services Department Staff with day to day GIS support. This position is responsible for projects such as, data input and maintenance of the GIS Pipeline database system utilizing Intrepid, ArcMap, and Portal. Participation in group safety meetings along with a commitment to the highest standard safety and environment excellence is essential. Duties shall include, but not limited to creating, editing, and maintaining records in the GIS database. Perform database queries. Research data and generate alignment sheets.
Candidate must be working towards a bachelor's or master's degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must have excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills, strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Must have lawful unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer, beginning in May and ending in August. Some travel to local sites may be required.
