Under direction of the GIS Supervisor, the GIS Technician will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of GIS data and maps for the water/ waste water infrastructure, as well as respond to requests for custom maps and/or reports. This position is located at Customer Support Services in San Jose, California.
Bachelor’s Degree in geography, computer science, earth science, or related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Four (4) years’ experience in GIS
Consideration will be given to candidates with certifications and accreditations
Geographic Information Systems Certificate
Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) Certification
ESRI Technical Certifications
Valid California Driver License
