We maintain the real property data on County-owned and leased facilities and acquire/lease/dispose of County real property. We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field
  • One year of experience working with GIS applications
  • Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
  • Experience with ESRI products: ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcCatalog, Workflow Manager

We Also Value

  • Experience using Parcel Fabric, Web App Builder, OnBase, and service-driven version of Workflow Manager
  • Experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise geodatabases
  • Experience with Python, Arcade, and C++ programming languages
  • ESRI-specific training and certification
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of Land Surveying, Right of Way, and Engineering Design
  • Institutional real estate experience and understating of real estate documents

Job Contributions

  • Develop, design, program, and maintain GIS applications and databases
  • Collaborate with the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET) as the Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and troubleshoot Real Estate’s Spatial Database Engines (SDE), ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases, ESRI Portal connectivity, ESRI Parcel Fabric Feature Service and ESRI Workflow Manager web application
  • Create and implement automated workflows utilizing Arcade expressions and Python scripts
  • Determine requirements, appropriate software, and design methodologies for GIS applications
  • Develop standard workflow and procedures for handling a vast amount of County records
  • Perform data validation and quality control as needed
  • Train, mentor, and assist other staff with GIS as needed

Working Conditions

  • Office or administrative work; sitting most of the time
  • Not exposed to adverse environmental conditions
  • Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently
