Assemi Group is seeking a qualified Geographic Information Systems Analyst GISA to manage company mapping software along with geographical information and data related to our organization. The GISA will also integrate existing company software and data necessary for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographic information. A qualified candidate will be responsible for discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping, developing mapping applications and tools to meet business needs. In addition, the candidate must be able to collaborate with IT disciplines to ensure that necessary changes to the information technology environment are instituted with an appropriate level of quality, cost, and consistency.
o Responsible for designing, programming and analyzing data in GIS
o Proactively Developing Mapping Applications and Tools
o Responsible for creating high quality exhibits and maps for multiple projects
o Developing Standards and best practices, coordinating, planning, and driving technical solutions surrounding company’s spatial data including use of mobile devices in the field
o Importing/Exporting data from multiple formats for consumption within GIS platform
o Ensuring all changes/updates to services and data in production are documented, tested, and approved by users
o Training staff on customer-facing esri products
o Communicate effectively with IT team to implement spatial data sources.
o Independently lead and manage mapping projects
o Keeping well-informed of technical changes and innovations in GIS and Computer Science.

o Proficiency in esri products: ArcGIS Pro, Portal, AGOL, Survey123, Collector and Explorer
o Proficiency in managing published esri spatial services, maps and applications.
o Proficiency in working with Spatial data sources in SQL, Enterprise Geodatabases, File Geodatabases, Shapefiles.
o Experience working with large, complex datasets
o Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, Surveying, Engineering, or related field
o High attention to detail
o Proficiency with database systems and design methodologies
o Desire to Create and operate within standards for Data, Mapping and processes.
o Desire to produce high quality mapping solutions
o Experience managing GIS systems
o Experience with GPS measuring tools
o Proficiency with organization, scrubbing, and transformation of data
o Strong SQL database experience
o Demonstrated knowledge managing database systems
o Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required to work with technical specialists and a diverse user community including field personnel and
o Strong analytical and organizational skills.
o Programming experience a plus.
o Leadership/Management experience a plus.
o This job mainly operates in the professional office environment; routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. At times this role uses a vehicle to transport between campuses and construction job sites with exposure to various environmental conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
o This is a full time at will position, and work hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as department needs demand.
o Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
o Must be eligible to work in the United States
