Design, analyze, and develop geo-spatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure and hydrographic and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector products. Perform geographic information systems (GIS) analyses on natural resources data and plan, design, develop, document, and analyze spatial and relational databases. Apply software to manage spatial and related tabular data. Build databases by capturing map information with a coordinate digitizer. Produce computer map products depicting contents of databases and locate sources of GIS data. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Work independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
-7+ years of experience with GIS and geospatial analysis
-Experience in DoD IGI&S programs, Geographic Information Science (GISci), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software
-Experience with Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE), the single DoD spatial standard that supports common implementation and maximizes interoperability for installation, environment, and civil works missions
-Experience with software applications, including Esri ArcGIS 10.x and extensions, such as Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Geostatistical Analyst, Publisher, Tracking Analyst, Data Interoperability, Network Analyst, Schematics, Military Analyst, and Defense Mapping, Portal for ArcGIS, Esri ArcPad, Intergraph’s ERDAS Imagine, Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office, and Trimble TerraSync required
-Experience in working with ArcGIS Spatial Database Engine and working within a versioned geodatabase environment
-Experience with Microsoft and Adobe software applications, including Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, or later, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Microsoft Visio 2010, Microsoft Project 2010, Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.x or later, and Adobe Creative Suite 6 or later, including Bridge, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
-Ability to provide management support and technical expertise in the use of GIS, CAD, and automated mapping systems integration with complementary business processes and systems
-Ability to collect functional requirements, analyze and document business workflows, and design or create geospatial processes, tools, and products to support business needs
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Experience in working with Internet Naval Facilities Assets Data Store (iNFADS) and comprehend the correlation between iNFADS and GIS
-Experience with supporting GIS requirements for the United States Marine Corpsor experience in working with GEOFidelis
